UACDL is proud to host our first Defense Legislative Conference. The purpose of the conference is to plan out next year’s legislative priorities for the criminal defense bar.
Please come prepared to positively brainstorm, think through, and help develop ideas to make next year’s legislative session a better one for our clients.
Steve Burton will guide the conference with some discussion about how bills get passed in Utah, how defense attorneys can get more engaged in meaningful ways, and will help solidify the best ideas that have the strongest likelihood of getting passed.
This is a free event. Lunch will be provided. You can also pay an optional $100 to get 4.0 CLE credits (approval pending).
A virtual link will be provided but please don’t attend virtually unless physical attendance is impractical. Virtual attendees will be able to participate live but not as effectively as in-person attendees will (for all of the usual reasons).
